Two Way Flap Diverter
The Two Way Diverter Chute is designed for directing the free falling product, it comprises of a fabricated casing that has the option of Mild steel or Stainless Steel construction, a compressed air cylinder and a pair of proximity switches.
The material is diverted from one leg to the other by an air actuated diverter flap. Operated by solenoid and compressed air valve arrangement, which allows the cylinder to operate in a forward or reverse motion, moving the Flap Valve from one leg to the other.
The design of the chute enables the diverting of free falling material up to 2800TPH in to either one of two outlet chutes. Normally the outlet is to a alternative conveyor, storage or reject.
Three Way Flap Diverter
The Three Way Diverter Chute is designed for directing the free falling material up to 2800TPH in to either one of the three outlet chutes. The outlet provides the options of discharging to alternative conveyors, storage or reject.
The Slide valve stops the stream of material from traveling a particular chute direction, the Slide Valve also stops unwanted dust deposits migrating through unused chutes.
Robson design and manufacture chute work to suit the many industries and materials including abrasive products, utilising hardened wear resistant steels, the chutes are designed to promote flow, with reduced impact points and dust generating turbulence. The flow efficient design ensures the flow of the material meets the receiving conveyor at the same velocity and speed, reducing the impact and reducing dust emissions.
Discharge and Infeed Chutes
Referred to as the Spoon and Boot each is designed using state of the art telemetry software defining the flow and impact characteristic, highlighting the stress points, giving the design engineers the information needed to produce the high performance energy efficient chute.
