George Robson & Co (Conveyors) Ltd, already a key figure in the materials and bulk handling industry, has formed strong ties with German vibration technology company . Robson is now Aviteq's official sole distributor in the UK, with responsibility for sales and servicing of all the company's equipment.

The agreement consolidates a 10-year association between the two companies, during which Robson has utilised Aviteq drives and motors to design and manufacture vibratory feeders, pre feeders and screens in systems for industries such as sugar, glass, steelmaking, cement and chemicals.

Robson celebrated its centenary in 2006 and, like Aviteq, has an international profile. It has designed and built handling systems for clients throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle and Far East.
