This week, the team at Robson Handling Technology welcomed the fantastic team from Support Dogs to their headquarters for a special ‘Dogs and Doughnuts Day’ in Sheffield.

The event brought together staff, visitors and some very special four-legged guests, helping raise awareness of the incredible work Support Dogs carries out across the UK, and raise some well-earned money for a brilliant cause.

Support Dogs is a national charity dedicated to training specialist assistance dogs to support autistic children, adults with epilepsy, and people living with physical disabilities, helping them to live safer, more independent lives.

‘Dogs and Doughnuts’ Day was the latest chapter in Robson Handling Technology’s ongoing support for the organisation. Since January 2025, Team Robson has taken part in several fundraising challenges and charity initiatives, raising an impressive £5,524.69 for the charity in 2025 alone!

The day allowed the Robson team to spend time with representatives from the charity, learn more about the impact the dogs have on people’s lives, and meet some of the incredible dogs themselves. The event forms part of Robson Handling Technology’s wider commitment to supporting charitable and community initiatives, whilst continuing to build strong relationships across the region.

Support Dogs is an inspiring charity that supports people of all ages to live more independently and confidently. Relying on charitable events and donations, we are proud to continue working with the Support Dogs team, and we look forward to our next event in 2026!
