Seasons Greetings from the Robson Group
With the festive season nearly upon us, everyone at Robson Handling Technology and Robson Site Services would like to thank you for your continued support throughout the year.
Once again 2019 has seen the key theme of growth and innovation for Robson Group, coupled with a wide array of new clients across several new countries. With many exciting new projects, upgrades, as well as service and maintenance work across many industry sectors, one of the year’s highlights includes the successful completion of the largest ever conveyor upgrade project to be undertaken on a UK Power Station whilst in operation.
Our ability to innovate has driven much of the Airport work Robson Handling Technology has been awarded and completed this year, installing IE4 drive motors combined with a Robson SNI controls system, delivering enhanced system control, high performance and efficiency, as well as relevant data to proactively manage servicing and maintenance moving forwards. Innovations in 2020 will look to add even more value for our customers. Leading this will be our Controls Division that has more than doubled in size within the last twelve months, a maintenance Division now providing electrical and controls support alongside existing expertise, and an engineering department using 3D laser scanning and virtual reality in planning and design.
Working in partnership with clients, customer support is also a focus for innovation in Robson Site Services. The business has several examples of increasing turnover and profit for it’s clients by optimising their conveyor systems and reducing down-time. Recent examples of this include increasing Bucket Elevator throughput by 43 TPH at a Cement Factory and reducing down-time at a UK Limestone Quarry by 85.6%.
